Japan Government decided Hotel worker can start job in Japan as TITP(Technical intern training program) and SSW (Specificity Skilled Worker) Visa. This draft of acceptation will be passed public hearing and start on July. Actually, this matter has not be approved by POEA now so seems it will be more negotiation necessary, especially applicant’s income and welfare service matter.

With Japan's declining population, it became apparent that the key companies simply do not have enough employees to support them. And so there has been a specified skill worker visa. With at least five years (for the specified skilled worker(i)) and the chance to upgrade to a visa without a limit on the number of years of residency (Specified Skilled Worker(ii)), in fact, it is a mega-upgrade of the former visa which is the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP).

As the main purposes of this new kind of visa are acquiring human resources, Japan is indeed encouraging people to stay longer in this country. The ability to change companies (so long as you stay in the same industry) is another benefit for this new type of visa. You can bring your family members to Japan to live with you once you upgrade to the Specified Skilled Worker(ii) visa.

Information for Japanese language test for Specified Skill Worker Visa (SSWV).

特定技能労働者査証（SSWV）の日本語試験のご案内です。

You need to pass the Japanese test for applying Specified Skill Worker Visa (SSWV), as well as skill test unless you are ex-trainee who completed 3-year training in Japan and holding 3rd grade skill certificate or the evaluation letter.

特定技能労働者ビザ（SSWV）の申請には、日本で3年間の実習を修了した元実習生で、3級の技能証明書または評価書を持っている人以外は、日本語の試験に加えて技能試験に合格する必要があります。

If you are in Japan, only JLPT level N4 can be considered from the Japanese language test. You can take either JLPT or JFT if you stay outside of Japan. JFT recently published their system brochure. You should check it.

日本国内であれば、日本語試験からはJLPTのN4レベルのみが対象となります。日本以外の国に滞在する場合は、JLPTかJFTのどちらかを受験することができます。JFTは最近、システムのパンフレットを発行しました。確認してみてください。
